Anton Ivanov, Financial Security Advisor and Mutual Fund Representative

Shopper by nature, brand agnostic, loyal to clients, friends and family. Independent financial advisor focused on helping incorporated owners in Québec and Ontario grow and preserve wealth across generations.

Background

Before this field — sold two small businesses at a profit, worked as a credit risk analyst in corporate lending, eventually director. Entered financial advisory in 2004 with Investors Group. Became independent in 2008, partnering with accountants, mortgage brokers, and real estate agents. Recruited and mentored new advisors. Sold agency in 2020. Since then operating solo, focusing on helping business owners grow and preserve wealth across generations.

Values and Beliefs

Education first. This releases me from a responsibility I have never accepted — taking informed decisions on behalf of the client. My role is to help you understand your options, not to make decisions for you.

Compounding works across everything. Actions compound into habits. Habits compound into systems. Conviction compounds into knowledge. Over time, these compound into outcomes. Small differences in how we think and act today create large differences in where we end up decades later. And here is the question: are you compounding in the right direction or in the wrong one? Compounding works both ways.

Everything we say, do, don't say, and don't do teaches a lesson. To the next generation. To people around us. This brings the importance of awareness — awareness of what you think, what you say, and what you do. Every decision sets an example, whether intended or not.
